About this edition
The PDF is the authoritative form: it carries the paper's own fonts, typesetting and figures exactly as written. It is also a fixed Letter layout, which does not reflow — on a narrow screen that means pinching and scrolling. The plain-text edition is published alongside it for exactly that case: the same words at whatever width you are reading, in the word processor's layout rather than the paper's.
The paper is deliberately printed in traditional spelling, and both editions are marked so the Euspell extension leaves them alone. It argues its case by setting reformed spellings against traditional ones in the same table; converting it would rewrite both columns and erase the comparison. If you have the extension installed, this page and the PDF will read exactly as they do without it.
